• Johanna Bilgeri - Bassoon

    Johanna Bilgeri of Hittisau, Austria, received her first bassoon instruction at the age of six. She has studied at the State Conservatory of Vorarlberg and University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She has won several first prizes as a soloist and chamber musician at national and international competitions and gathered orchestral experience with the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony, and since May 2022 has been a member of the Vorarlberg Symphony. As the winner of the “Vienna Symphony Talent Competition”, she made her debut as a soloist with the Vienna Symphony under Andrés Orozco-Estrada. In May 2022, she was the winner of the “mdw great talent award” of the University of Music and Performing Arts.


  • Johanna Gossner - Clarinet

    Johanna Gossner was born in Kitzbühel, Austria, and studied at the State Conservatory of Tyrol in Innsbruck before transferring to the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna. While studying at the University of Music in Graz, she also completed the orchestral program of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. She has performed regularly as a substitute with the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Camerata Salzburg, Bühne Baden, Wiener Concert-Verein, Vienna Symphony and the Vienna State Opera and made appearances as a soloist and chamber musician in Japan, China, Portugal, Scandinavia and Latin America. She has won prizes at numerous national and international competitions.


  • Klaus Höpfler - Horn

    Klaus Höpfler was born in Schärding, Austria, and received his first horn instruction at the age of seven. After studying at the Anton Bruckner Private University, he transferred to the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He has taken part in various master classes and the Vienna Philharmonic Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy. He has garnered orchestral experience with the Vienna Symphony, the Vienna Volksoper, the Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera and Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra. He attended the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra Academy prior to joining the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Academy.


  • Petra Lantschner - Flute

    Petra Lantschner of Völs am Schlern (South Tyrol), studied flute and instrumental pedagogy in Innsbruck and completed both bachelor programs with distinction and continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and through numerous master classes. As a regular substitute with the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra in Innsbruck, she collected valuable experience in concert and opera. She has also performed with diverse professional ensembles including the Gustav Mahler Academy, making appearances at the Vienna Festival Weeks and the Klangspuren Schwaz, as well as at the Tyrolean Festival in Erl as a soloist and chamber musician. She has won numerous first prizes at Austrian young peoples' competitions.


  • Carolin Lindner - Violin

    Carolin Lindner, from Rostock, Germany, received her first instruction on the violin at the age of four and completed her bachelor studies with a violin major at the Leopold Mozart Center of the University of Augsburg. She has continued her violin studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She has also taken part in various master classes. She gained orchestral experience as a member of the German String Philharmonic; has been a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra; took part in the Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic; and was an apprentice with the Augsburg Philharmonic and substitute with the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna State Opera Orchestras.


  • Samuel Palmetshofer - Trombone

    Samuel Palmetshofer was born in Amstetten, Austria, and received his first instruction on tenor horn at age 10. At 16, he changed to the trombone and was accepted into the Academy for Gifted Students (ABF) at the Anton Bruckner Private University. In 2019, he began his bachelor in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy in the class of Prof. Kürner. He collected his first orchestral experience in youth orchestras such as the Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, as well as the Upper Austrian Mozart Ensemble, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, and the Altomonte Orchestra in St. Florian. From November 2022 to August 2023, he was a member of the orchestra academy of the Düsseldorf Symphony/Deutsche Oper am Rhein.


  • Adrián Rescalvo García - Double bass

    Adrián Rescalvo García was born in Valencia, Spain and began studying the contrabass at the age of nine at the Conservatorio Profesional de Torrent and completed his bachelor studies at the Basque College of Music (MUSIKENE). He has played in prominent Spanish orchestras such as the orchestra of the opera Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, the orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceuin Barcelona and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León. In addition, he has completed master classes and performed in various youth orchestras such as the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of Spain.


  • Kerstin Steinbauer - Oboe

    Kerstin Steinbauer was born in Tulln, Austria and began her musical studies as an oboist at age nine at the music school in Tulln, before continuing her studies at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree. She won several first prizes at the Austrian competition “prima la musica”.. She has also taken part in numerous master classes with prominent artists and garnered orchestral experience at the Vienna Philharmonic Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy, the orchestra of the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna, the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra, the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as with her own quintet, Take 5.


  • Assia Weisman - Violin

    Assia Weisman was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and began taking violin lessons at the age of four from her mother, a concert violinist. Even as a child, Assia won awards at various youth music competitions. She studied viola at the Franz Liszt College of Music in Weimar and at the College of Music and Dance in Cologne. She was selected for the Colluvio Chamber Academy. She gathered orchestral experience with the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. She has also appeared as soloist with the Philharmonie Südwestfalen, the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie - Koblenz, the BrixenClassics Festival Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the TU Darmstadt, and the Confido Camerata, as well as the Youth Orchestra of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
